Protection of personal details. Notification.
Dear Mr/Ms, in compliance with the provisions of the code on protecting personal details, we wish to inform you that your personal details obtained from you will be handled by Aquamar S.r.l. for the following purposes / in the following manner:

Purpose of handling
All the operations carried out by Aquamar S.r.l. are summarised below:

  • A. Gathering, processing, and storing of personal details in order to provide you with out newsletter on the world of the Aquamar S.r.l. Company;
  • B. Gathering, processing, and storage of personal details provided to us for the purpose of orienting and improving Aquamar S.r.l.'s activities as much as possible;
  • C. Use of the personal details provided to us for marketing and promotions by Aquamar S.r.l. (for example: market research, advertising promotions, notifications, etc.);

Manner of handling
Details will also be handled using automated systems. If you provide us with contact details, we may contact you. The details gathered in this manner will be used for the purposes indicated in this notification. This excludes handling sensitive personal details, according to art 4, 1st comma, lett d) of the code on protection of personal details, that can be used to detect the racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical and any other kind of conviction, political opinion, membership of parties, trade unions, associations, or organisations of a religious, philosophical, political, or trade union nature, as well as personal details that make it possible to determine state of health or sexual preference.

Freedom to give consent and consequences of refusal
Giving your personal details is optional. However, we wish to inform you that: In case of refusal of consent for purpose (A) we will not be able to provide you with the services requested. In case of refusal to consent for purposes (B) and (C) this will not affect the sending of the newsletter, but simply exclusion of the operations described in sections B and C.

Communication / passing on of details
provided the authorisation referred to above is given, your details may be handled by Aquamar S.r.l. for commercial purposes. Those responsible for handling your details are the owners and/or employees of the Aquamar S.r.l. Company;

Rights of the Person involved.
In compliance with art 7 of the Code on protecting personal details, as laid out below, you have the following rights:
Art. 7 (right to access to personal details and other rights)

  • 1. The person involved has to right to have confirmation as to whether or not their personal details are held, even if they have not yet been recorded, and to be informed of the same in an intelligible manner.
  • 2. The person involved has to right to obtain an indication:
    • a) Of the source of their personal details;
    • b) The purposes and methods of handling;
    • c) The logic applied if their details are handled with the help of electronic tools;
    • d) Of the identity of the owner, managers, and designated representative in terms of article 5, 2nd comma;
    • e) Of the subjects and category of subjects to whom their personal details may be communicated or that may have access to the same due to them being a designated representative in a State, managers, or employees.
  • 3. The person involved has to right to:
    • a) Updating, ratification, or, when it is in their interests, the addition of details;
    • b) Deletion, transformation into an anonymous form, or blockage of the details handled in violation of the law, including the details that do not need to be kept for the purposes for which the details were gathered or subsequently handled;
    • c) Certification that the operations mentioned in letters a) and b) have been brought to the notice, also in terms of their content, of those to whom they were communicated or distributed, excepting for cases in which this proves impossible or where it results in involving means that are obviously disproportionate to the right protected.
  • 4. The person involved has the right to oppose, fully or partly:
    • a) For legitimate reasons, to the handling of their personal details, even if this is pertinent to the purpose for which they were gathered;
    • b) To handling of their personal details in order to send advertising materials, for direct sales, for market research, or for commercial communications.

Aquamar S.r.l.'s Privacy policy.
Aquamar S.r.l. recognises the importance of protecting the privacy of its clients' personal details and sees such protection as its specific responsibility. For this reason Aquamar S.r.l. complies with the provisions of the code on the protection of personal details. By registering on the Aquamar S.r.l. website, you consent to us handling your personal details and accept the following conditions:

1. That Aquamar S.r.l. will store the personal details provided only if expressly authorised to do so by the user, in order to provide the service that the user has requested, even if this is only to send newsletters.

2. How information provided to Aquamar S.r.l. is used
If your provide Aquamar S.r.l. with your personal details, we can send you a catalogue. Provided this is expressly agreed to, Aquamar S.r.l. may use the details provided to offer a better service to its clients (for example, by contacting them to inform them about their products or special offers, or to answer market research if you so wish).
